Blake Stanley is an artist thriving in the creative capital of the world, New York City. He was raised in contemporary, jazz, and ballet, and has studied extensively in the Vaganova Ballet Technique as a full-scholarship student at the Indiana Ballet Conservatory. He is an advocate for injury prevention through his partnership with T Spheres, and puts an emphasis on the importance of self care in his teachings. A few of his teaching highlights are his residency program, where he traveled weekly to teach at studios in Michigan and Indiana, a relocation for the Williams Center; located in Arkansas, and being the director for the ballet program at the Brooklyn Center for the Arts. As a performer, he had the pleasure of being a guest artist with the Joffrey Ballet in New York City, and being the highlight of the Make A Wish Foundation charity gala in Wisconsin. He has had the privilege of working intimately with world renowned choreographers such as Sonya Tayeh, Brooke Pierotti, Jason Parsons, and Mia Michaels; who became a private mentor for him. Blake’s teaching and choreography has and continues to receive national recognition for the outstanding quality and innovation, and has led him to travel abroad and share his passion for the arts with people around the world.
